Online briefing and tips
Safety first! Track rules, flags and tips to get the most out of a Trackday in your road-going sports car or race car.
On track
The rules to follow on track at our Trackdays.
Do not exceed 30 km/h in the Pit-Lane.
Join the track carefully without crossing the white line.
Do at least 2 warm-up laps at reduced pace.
Always check your mirrors.
When a car catches you, let it by.
Use your indicator to let the driver know you've seen them.
Don't overtake unless you're sure you've been seen (indicator).
Keep a safe distance from the cars ahead.
Don't drive on track for more than 15 / 20 minutes in a row.
If the brake pedal travel gets longer, come back to the pits.
Use your hazard lights only to signal an emergency or under a red flag.
Before leaving the circuit, do a cool-down lap at normal speed with your indicator on the side you're driving on. Don't use your hazard lights.
The spirit of the Trackday
A Trackday is not a race. There are no prizes to win.
There will always be drivers faster than you.
What you learn on track will help you on the road too.
The flags
What the flags shown by the marshals mean.

Blue flag
This flag tells the driver that a faster car is approaching. Check your mirrors and let the approaching car through, without any sudden movements. It's good practice to use your indicator to confirm to the approaching car that you've seen it.

Yellow flag
